Our time in Georgia has been perfect. It's been fabulous not worrying about things we need to do, place we need to be, or being woken up by an alarm clock. We decided to drive this time and we got in late Thursday night. Christmas Eve was spent at my parent's house with Charity and her little family. It was Myers' first Christmas and he is the funniest little boy. He sure does love his Uncle Cam & Aunt Chelsea. His laugh fills the house and you can't help but laugh when you hear it. Since Christmas fell on a Sunday this year we woke up early to open presents, and then got ready for church. The rest of the day was full of food, family, and a game of Ticket to Ride.

my beautiful Mimi gave me a blanket that her mom, Lula, had sewn many years ago.

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving holiday in Dallas with pictures...

Really the only picture I got of our football game.

Margo & Barry moved to Dallas!!! We are so happy to have them close. Gwen & Sophie are seriously adorable. Miss Sophie loved Cameron. I think the feeling was mutual...

Come on Christmas!! We are ready to go to Georgia and love on our other nephews.

lovingly grateful

My heart is full this Thanksgiving. I am grateful for families and knowing that we will be together for eternity. No other knowledge brings me greater joy. I am grateful for a husband who loves and supports me even at my crazy times. He does so much for our little family, and I am so thankful I found somebody who is beyond perfect for me. I am thankful for our marital strength, and seeing our love and strength grow daily through our good times and trials. I am grateful for my crazy, energetic, funny, rambunctious, loving nephews and nieces on both sides of the family. They fill my heart with love and happiness. I am grateful for my sisters and my sister in laws who have become sisters. I am grateful for game nights with family, and the laughter that fills the home.

I am a blessed girl and I am beyond grateful for all that I have been given. I only wish Thanksgiving could come twice a year.

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!!

visitor

Josh (Cameron's brother) came for a visit Wednesday night after his interview in Temple. It was wonderful seeing him for a bit while he was in town. Hopefully next time Ainsley and Henry can join in on the fun too.

Risk

Cameron has turned me onto the game of Risk. We played Friday night with Spencer & Ashley. Cameron dominated the game by capturing North and South America so quickly. We are now officially a couple that likes to play games. Can't wait for the holidays to play with our families. *Hint hint Jon & Wendy ;)*

Bring on the holiday season! :)

Happy Birthday Cameron!!

I love birthdays, and I love turning them into birthday weekends. Cameron turned 26th on Thursday. Hooray! We decided to take a half day of work on Friday and go golfing. This was my first time ever on a course. It was a perfect fall day. Bless Cameron for being patient with me as I learned. Luckily the course wasn't crowded and we were able to take our time and enjoy being out there.

Cameron says at least his golf swing is better than Charles Barkley's. ;)

Saturday we went to Texas Roadhouse for Cameron's birthday dinner with Spencer and Ashley. And enjoyed some delicious apple crisp with blue belle vanilla. (Thanks Margo for the recipe. It was delicious!)

Happy Birthday Cameron!!
I love you to the moon & back.

Barton Springs

Quite possibly our favorite spot in Austin. Barton Springs is a natural spring in downtown Austin. The water stays 68 degrees year round, and it feels wonderful during this hot hot summer here. We bring our big old goggles, noodles, and swim along the bottom looking for fish, turtles, and anything else crawling along the bottom of the spring. It's become a weekly tradition. We go in the evening when Cameron gets home from work, and cool off from the day.

After we go swimming, we usually go to a trailer park and get Torchy's Tacos. Best chips & queso in town. Hands down.

Now come to Austin & enjoy Barton Springs with us too!!
