2010 happiness

I can hardly believe 2010 is almost over and 2011 is knocking at the door. It has been a memorable year, and one to remember happily.

  • Cameron graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in Business Finance and a minor in Russian.
  • I received my endowments in the Columbia, South Carolina LDS temple. Not only was it spiritual in itself, but my father was receiving his along side of me.
  • The Hammock Family was sealed for time and all eternity. The eight of May was a beautiful and special day. Like it or not, we're together for ever. ;)
  • A week later, Cameron and I officially became Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Bryce Thatcher. We were married on the fifteenth of May in the Dallas, Texas LDS temple. We were surrounded by family and close friends. It was the happiest day. May was full of blessings and happiness.
  • I left the United States for the first time. We spent our honeymoon in the fabulous Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Best honeymoon EVER.
  • My sister, Charity, and her husband Derek are expecting their first child in March of next year.
  • Cameron's brother, Jon and his wife Wendy welcomed their third child - Owen. Making him our sixth nephew on Cameron's side. He was actually born the day we came back from our honeymoon.
  • Cameron took his first job out of college and moved us down to Austin. He is working as a financial analyst for the MAC of Texas. He loves it and couldn't be happier.

What better to remember the year than with pictures??

This year has treated us far too well. Bring on the new year.

a Thatcher Christmas

We spent our Christmas up in Dallas. Cameron got off work a little early on Wednesday, and once he got home we were headed out. The first thing we did - horse back riding on Thursday. It's a definite favorite of ours. It was a bit chilly, but so much fun.

Christmas Eve was spent running last minute errands, wrapping presents, cooking/baking, and reading in the book of Luke the Christmas story. And of course - being with family.

Christmas was just lovely. We opened presents, ate, played games, ate, play with our nephews and nieces, ate, football, and tons of laughter.

Merry Christmas to all!

I just love him.

'tis the season

Christmas is in 12 days. 12 days! eek! I can't even stand it. We put our tree up the day after we got back from Atlanta and hung our stockings. The shopping is done, and we're ready to go to Dallas and be with family.

My lovely sister sent me a tree skirt back in October. I helped her make hers three ago and since I'm not there, she did the hard part of cutting and sewing and I decorated it. That alone took me a week to do, gotta love felt and awesome big sisters.

My favorite! Christmas tree with buttons as ornaments.

I made Cameron's stocking last year for his Christmas present filled with fun goodies. This year I finished making mine.

Like our faux fire place? :)
