a day of gratitude in Georgia

One year ago, Cameron invited me down to Dallas to meet his family for Thanksgiving. So we embarked on the 20+ hour non stop drive from Rexburg, Idaho.

This year, we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Georgia. We spent a week in Atlanta and the trip was just a little bit too short. It was bittersweet leaving. We were able to go to Athens and see my sister's new home, and it was the most darling and beautiful home I have ever seen. Just lovely. Char - you and D did a fabulous job.

On Thanksgiving morning, we went and hiked Kennesaw Mountain with Charity & Derek and Margo & Barry. Afterwords, we went back home and enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving. My Mom is the best cook ever (in my opinion) and she definitely outdid herself again. Thanks Mom! You're the best.

Next up, Christmas in Dallas with the Thatcher's. :)

Happy Thanksgiving. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
